It's never given me problems. It breaks often and needs to be replaced. I've had this headset for a while now. The only issue is the earhook. If they can resolve that issue, this is a great headset. It's the best one I've found. People never complain when I'm on it.
I don't like the long press time to activate the voice commands on my phone. The pairing process is a little different, I actually had to whip out the manual for this one. The really nice thing is it comes with a car charger. This is a very nice unit. Sound quality is on par with what you'd expect from any other unit in this price range.
Looked at others, but this product has too many accessories that others dont. Fits in my pocket when not needed (restaurants, other conversations). This is my third JX-10, second version II, cause it got washed. Love it.
frustrating. sorry jabra. i have owned this bluetooth headset for a little over 10 months now. i bought it from Best Buy back in december, maybe as a late christmas gift to myself since my last bluetooth turned out to be a dud.initially i felt that the jabra was a great product because not only is it super light, but it's comfortable. hello." i just got used to it.anyway, i dont want to turn this into a hating review, but the jawbone is at least 10x better. now, i'm comparing these with the best functioning bluetooth i've ever owned - the Logitech Freedom, which people cant even tell if i'm outside walking around in windy san francisco. A LOT.
when it connects, i can hear people on the other line saying "hello. i'm not exaggerating.
but after using it in different contexts, i realized that it has a number of significant shortcomings.PROs:- lightweight- comfortable (i forget i'm wearing it)- easy buttons / intuitive functionality- sleek designCONs:- limited range (minor)- a LOT of background noise- slow to pick up and dial calls it has an OK battery life. the jabra had something like a 2 second delay.
i use my bluetooth not only in the car but at home, so i'm essentially on it 90% of the time i use my phone (sony w810i). so when i finally caved and bought the jawbone ii, i was surprised how there was no lag between pressing the "answer" button and actually being connected.
it IS comfortable though. the quality of the calls were clear at home.
anyway, i didnt realize how much this bluetooth was lacking in functionaility until friends would complain about the background noise, and i'd notice myself asking "what." a lot.
This one is version 2 of the headset that Jabra has come out with, and it is really good. I love this little Bluetooth headset. It is the second one I've owned and wanted a second one as a backup.
